Derek Braverman has won the 2026 Karl Jaspers Award,  the Association for the Advancement of Philosophy and Psychiatry (AAPP) annual competition for students and trainees for the best paper in philosophy of psychiatry. His paper is titled, "Addiction and Disease Debates as Metalinguistic Disputes"!
