Dr. Amanda Evans comes to us from the Centre for Philosophical Psychology at the University of Antwerp as a postdoctoral fellow. Her primary areas of research are philosophy of mind (including philosophy of psychology and cognitive science), philosophy of psychiatry, and action theory. The unifying thread that connects research is the study of mental disorder and the insights it can give into human agency. She completed her PhD in philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin in 2021.
Dr. Mason Westfall comes to us from the University of Toronto, where he received his PhD in Philosophy in 2020 and was an Assistant Professor the following year. His primary areas of research are philosophy of mind, philosophy of perception, epistemology and the cognitive sciences, in particular, how they intersect in thinking about social cognition.
