Dinner & Dialogue: “Open Borders and the Right to Exclude"

Zachary Bowersox (Political Science) and Akshan deAlwis (Philosophy)

Can a nation be morally obligated to adopt an open border policy?  On what basis can a country choose to exclude migrants attempting to enter their country? Can a country reject refugees from entering their country?

The Civil Society Initiative at WashU is pleased to announce our Fall 2024 Dinner & Dialogue Series.  Join us at the Danforth University Center (DUC) for conversations with experts and advocates that embrace constructive conversation, respectful disagreement , and good faith reasoning about ethics and politics, with dinner provided by local vendors, including Balkan Treat Box, Taco Buddha, and more.  All are welcome!
