Dinner & Dialogue: "The Perimeters of Protest"

Fannie Bialek (Religion and Politics) and Kit Wellman (Philosophy)

Should political protest always respect the norms of civility?  Should protesters ever break the law?  Under what conditions, if any, is lawbreaking, or even violence, morally justified?

The Civil Society Initiative at WashU is pleased to announce our Fall 2024 Dinner & Dialogue Series.  Join us at the Danforth University Center (DUC) for conversations with experts and advocates that embrace constructive conversation, respectful disagreement , and good faith reasoning about ethics and politics, with dinner provided by local vendors, including Balkan Treat Box, Taco Buddha, and more.  All are welcome!
